Beautiful strap!

I just came back here to Native Sons to buy another strap and noticed The Blue Velvet doesn't have any reviews. I was surprised. I bought one in September 2019. (It's currently Nov. 2025) I came back to Native Sons to find a colorful strap for a special Telecaster I own which has an acrylic pouring paint scheme.

I bought this blue strap for my Gibson Custom Shop Class 5 (see attached photo). It's a beautiful AAAAA blue burst. Schaller locking tuners are permanently attached to the strap. This strap is devoted to this guitar at all times! The blue is a beautiful color. Very elegant and stylish! It's very soft, with a wonderful texture. It works well when set at lower levels and also when I raise it up for sitting and playing.

The Blue Velvet is a bit more expensive, but probably worth it. At first I though the edges were a bit too "sharp" and I even emailed Chris and complained about it. Having said that, they are soft as butter right now! So it was just a case of "wearing it in". I sincerely love this guitar strap folks. Buy one.
